Gathering Dinner at Turf City

Yesterday night we have our dinner at Ah Yi Bao Yu restaurant at Turf City.. All my family members love seafood and so, Peggy had initiate this dinner. This is also a farewell dinner for his husband as he is going back to India soon. I went home after work, bath and prepare myself, Bina help to feed Shaney porridge and changed her to her newly brought dress from Jimmy (my 2nd Bro in law).. Uhmm, If I’m not wrong, this is brought from Thailand, he just saw it and he immediately brought it.. he always called my girl “Fei Nui” (in cantoness) heee. Surprise me that he will buy for my girl as usually guys dun really buy clothing for kids.. and just heard from my sis and mum that, he didn’t even brought for his daughter when she’s young that time.. Shaney, see how fortunate you are huh… Must say “Big thank” you to Er Yi Zhang okay..

After that we headed to Turf City, Daddy, Mummy, PoPo, Shaney and Bina took a cab there.. How lucky we are, we got a cab immediately when we were downstairs.. Reached there quite early so we walked for a while.. Uhmmm, actually tot at turf city nothing much to walk but surprise me to see quite a lot of thing there. There a store there selling kids sofa.. the sofa is very very nice.. but alittle ex lor… For a double sit sofa, they are selling at $111.. Uhmm, maybe this amount sound ok for some of you but I feel a little ex, but the sofa really nice lor.. a single sit sofa selling at $80.. Mummy didn’t buy any of it.. haaa..

Mummy had brought a Christmas tree there!! Ya!! Mummy always wanted to buy a Christmas tree to put it at home but always have the strength to pull back… Since this year with my Shaney girl, we are going to have a Christmas Party at home, and since, mummy found a “budget” Christmas tree, so why not.. heee. Christmas tree plus décor = $73.. WOW!!! Good buy!! Heee

We headed to the restaurant after that, Peggy, her husband, Ann, Ally and Jerome was choosing Seafood outside. What are we having??? Ya! We got Prawns, A Big Fish, Crab, Frog Leg, dua Tao, and veg. Actually Ann and booked the bamboo cramp but they did not leave for us.. I like tat.. heeee

We had a full dinner and went home after tat.. reached home and Shaney still wanna play.. always the case.. I found out that Shaney will not want to go to sleep after going Kai Kai at night.. hee.. think she too excited to sleep bar.. hahaha

Shaney bitten mummy 3 times yesterday, 1 time on the leg and 2 times on the hand.. Sob Sob... Mummy so pain... Scolded her but she just dun listen... Sigh..

BATMAN & ROBIN... Who is Batman.. Neh, Shaney lor, look at her.. suprise that she let us put this on on her.. Miko Jie Jie brought this back from a Wedding dinner, Wow!! Even wedding dinner, they prepare goodie bag for children.. times changed!

After Miko Jie jie put it on her, we brought her to the big mirror and she look at the mirror with a funny look.. SOOOOO CUTE!!! :)

Another sleepless night…

These few days, mummy got woken up from Shaney again.. coz her running nose and cough came back again.. Sigh.. Wed morning at 3am, mummy was woken by Shaney, poor girl, she’s coughing away.. She’s so tired but just couldn’t get to sleep with the cough.. mummy had to carry her on my arms, latch her till she fully asleep before I can put her down to the bed again… She also having alittle difficulty to breath with certain position and she will tend to turn here and there all over the bed, mummy had to swift here and there to suit her preference. I was so worried that cannot really get back to sleep..
Doc had mentioned that this sensitivity might be pass down, I guess is from her daddy.. coz daddy also having some kind of sensitive nose as and when.. So sad to see my darling suffer once and once again..

PoPo had brought her to CCK polyclinic on Wed morning, since this is an on and off issue and had dragged for sometime, so thought to go those government sector to check it out.. The Doctor had recommended to go KKH for a check up since is dragged for so long.. The date given was Dec 23, this is far but usually is the case for doctor recommendation, If not have to go there by ourselves and the cost will be 3x higher.. Will just take whatever medication that is given and be more careful on whatever she taking now.. Hope that she will be well soon…

Emotional.....

I always think that couples married together are fated to be husband and wife, and I believed that both will show their deepest love for their beloved baby….

I wanted to get very involved with my little girl, Shaney so that I won’t miss out each and every single moment of hers. I wanted to share with her when she grow up or maybe to bring this memory with me when I gone. I believe that a lot of mothers think the same way as I am and I’m truly devoted to my family and will do whatever I can to bring happiness to this family after having my beloved girl.

I remember I mentioned this, Shaney is my TOP priority and follow by Family and I have put myself right at the back of anything else. My hobby?? My likes?? All this doesn’t really matter to me now as what I want is a “FAMILY” – Daddy, Mummy and Shaney, happily staying together forever. Is this request that that difficult to fulfilled? Or am I only having an unrealistic dream??

I don’t want to have any regret and therefore, I will do whatever I think I will not. Can I be the lucky lady with a good husband and an adorable daughter? Am I asking for too much? Think this is the simpliest thing that a lady will wanted it to be…

This weekend........

This weekend, we didn’t go anywhere and mummy don’t have the mood to take any photograph coz Shaney is sick again.. Sigh!
Shaney is down with running nose and cough, coughing is an on off thing lor, since last time till now, still not fully recover. Daddy and me had bought Shaney to Railway mall to see doc on Friday night.

Friday night was terrible, Shaney has difficulty to get to sleep coz of the running nose. Think she get nose block with certain position and had cried over the night. Mummy will just carry her on my arms and let her sleep more comfortably. Had put a pillow and a bolster to support to have a 45 degree position for Shaney to sleep.

Sat morning, Daddy, Mummy, Shaney and Bina went to the market to have our breakfast and went home after that. Miko Jie Jie and Rachel had came over at around 2 plus coz Ann had given me some manago, uhmm, too ripe, that why mummy had try to make Mango Pudding from that. 1st time doing and not very successful.. Can eat lah, looks more like a Mango Agar Agar lor. Mummy had also bake something special for Shaney Lunch that day, Is a tiny shepherd pie.. Ingredients : Minced pork, Broccoli, carrots, mashed Potato, 2 oz of breast milk / formula milk, shedder cheese, corn flour. Shaney manage to finish all but took longer time to finish compare to porridge lah, or maybe she isn’t feeling that good too.

Shaney refuse to take her 2nd nap maybe coz Miko Jie Jie is here and she not feeling that well, Had brought her to the bedroom and manage to let her sleep half an hour later, When I go out, Rachel was also a sleep and I went back to have a short nap too. We had our dinner and had promise Miko Jie jie that we will play Donkey, so we hide inside PoPo bedrm to play while Shaney having her dinner. Miko Jie Jie Daddy is also here to have his dinner and after that fetch them back.

Shaney didn’t sleep well on Sat night too… Uhmm, should say better than Friday night alittle but still crying in the mid night. We went to market in the morning and had our breakfast at downstairs Kopi tiam, Shaney woke up quite late today at 8 plus and we did not let Shaney have her nap before lunch. She fall asleep while she taking her lunch.. Poor girl..

She looks better on Sunday. Didn’t go out, jus played with her with her toys.. Mummy had brought her downstairs at 7 plus to play bubbles and slide, she enjoy it!! Our home slide not so nice le compare to downstairs one.. Had cleaned her and went to the bedrm for her to sleep.

LATE!!! Sorry...

Thursday early morning, Shaney woke up at 2 plus and hard to get back to sleep, maybe coz not feeling quite well. Mummy had also keep waked up by Shaney and didn’t really get back to sleep. When my eyes opened wide!! Oh no!! Is already 6.25am.. Is definitely late!! Coz Daddy forget to set alarm. Had ask if Daddy wanna take Taxi together to work since Daddy work place is somewhere near mine but Daddy calm that he’s taking urgent leave instead.

Uhmm, alittle not feeling good as I had to take taxi to work by myself with the “not enough sleep” mood. Really bad!! Show my unhappiness… didn’t talk to Shaney.. didn’t even say goodbye to her before I go off. I’m so regret!!! How can I do this?? I had made promises to myself that I will always put Shaney as my priority!! How can I be like that? When I reached home after work, I hugged her tide. I say sorry to my darling softly at her ears and tell myself don’t ever do it again!

Darling, I’m so sorry, mummy shouldn’t be like that. Please forgive me and I promise I will not do it again.. Mummy will always love you.
Recently, Mummy having this little giddiness and some time have blur image when I’m looking at my PC, I don’t know why, maybe coz of not enough sleep which causes all these. Seriously, not finding excuses for my myself and hope to have your forgiveness and understanding.

Mummy first hair cut for Shaney

Mummy wanted Shaney to keep long hair so this time round mummy do the cutting herself.. Uhmm, thought just to trim abit on the front since wanna keep long hair and very lazy to go out on sunday. So mummy will do the job lor.

Didnt go out today coz daddy had brought a Hong Kong Series for mummy to watch. "Tang Sing Feng bao 2" Same actor but different story. Part 1 has watched when I was carrying Shaney.. heee.

We watched the whole day, I pulled Shaney toys near me, so mummy can watch and look after Shaney at the same time. While I'm watching the show, Shaney played with her toy, there's this incident that she was trying to get something out of the box but couldn't reach and mummy busy watching the show, she just pull my hand and put inside the box and "Er Er".. hahaha. Mummy can read her mind, she wanted mummy to help her get the toys inside the box that she cannot reached.

Another incident is Shaney putting a box on mummy hand, "Er Er" this time, Shaney want mummy to open the box for her. She so cute.... I really cant bear to leave her playing alone so mummy only give 3/4 concentration on the show and of Course with the help of daddy too..

When we are about to finish this disc and go to bed, Shaney was sitting quietly infront of us, we are a little suprise that why she isn't making any noise. When we look at her, she was playing with her water bottle, playing with water lah!! No wonder no sound from her lor. heee

2nd Visit to Ye Ye

1 Nov 08, We had decided to pay Ye Ye a visit. Uhmm... This is the 2nd visit after the CNY.. maybe coz of the distance and the hazzel to bring Shaney to travel and Daddy some time working on Sat, we seldom visit Ye Ye.

Ye Ye should be around 93 yrs old this year, but he still looking strong, he staying with Ta su su at Geylang and will visit Er su su at queensway every sat. Yap! by himself and taking bus!! Did I shock you??

Last time daddy used to stay in queensway but after married for a year, we decided to moved to Bukit Panjang area. Maybe coz mummy not used to it coz mummy born in Teck Whye and had stayed in Teck Whye for 20+ yrs. Ye Ye used to stay with us in Bt pangjang, maybe coz of the hazzel of travelling to visit Ta su su and Er su su, that why decided to moved. Ye Ye so happy to see Shaney!! Shaney likes to play with Ye Ye too..

After which we had went to Anchor point, compare to 2yrs back when I was staying there, there's alot of changes, last time nothing much, but now, there's so many newly opened resturant and shops.

Took a picture on the christmas decoration. Wanted to take picture of Shaney with that behind but Shaney keep looking at those anmials behind and refuse to look at the camera..


Had went to this Mickey Resturant, not dining in but brought a set of Pooh bear utensils for Shaney.


After that we headed to Ikea, thought they will sell christmas tree there but there isn't any lor.. went to children coner, remember this egg chair, Shaney loved it!! Mummy didnt buy lah, just let her enjoy the sit there. hee



She so tired and knock off on the way back.. She must be enjoying herself!! :)

Gathering

30 Oct, Peggy with her hub, Ann, Kai Sim, Rachel and Miko had came to my house for a gathering dinner, Why gather?? Coz Peggy hub had came back from India.. Yap! he's working in India and is his first time to my house.

PoPo had cooked quite alot of dish that day, we have :

Pig stomach soup with abalone, mushroom and fish ball(Abalone sponsor by Peggy)
Chye Sim(specially requested by Peggy coz india don't have this),
Pig heart (Rachel favourite)
mushrooms with pepper chili
and a crab specially cooked for Kong Kong..

Normally when I reached home, Shaney will just crawl towards me and wanted mummy to carry her before heading to bath.. but today, Shaney just simply ignoring me, coz got Kai Sim Jie Jie and Miko Jie Jie playing with her.. hahaha

While we were chatting, look what Shaney had did?? She grap Rachel plastic bag and start taking out Miko Jie Jie Pencil Box.. After which saw the bag behind and start to play with those bags by taking out items by items.. heee



Shaney always enjoy the acompany of many people around, she feel happy and when she saw Miko Jie Jie playing in the Tent, she will just crawl to the tent and go inside to play with Miko Jie Jie.. so sweet.. heee
