Shaney 1st Trip on Plane- Penang Day 3

24th Nov 09, Tuesday, planned to go swimming early in the morning before taking breakfast.. Mummy woke up with aches, however, after PoPo help on the scraping on my back, i feel much better, changed and off we go...

The swimming pool was not operating yet... and the water was very cold.. We had took the sand tools along for Shaney and she played with the sand...

This is the 2nd time Shaney on sand, surprise that she dun feel ok to walk in the sand.. Everyone of us feel very cold and we didnt swim... went back to our hotel room, change and went for breakfast...

After breakfast, we gather at the lobby and await to take taxi to Prangin Mall.

We are early and the shop has just opened..

Mummy had saw this shop selling kids clothes and brought 2 blouse for Shaney.. Trying on for her...

We shopped for quite sometime, had our lunch there, mummy feeling not very right, took panadol, feel aches every where, so suggest to take taxi back to hotel to rest first..

Ya.. Mummy down with fever..

After reaching the hotel, mummy feeling cold, cover myself with blanket and had a good nap with Shaney. Both of us had a good rest..

The rest of them went to nearby Kopi tiam to have their dinner while mummy still resting in the hotel, took some BH soup and back to rest again...

Shaney 1st Trip on Plane- Penang Day 2

23rd November 2009, Monday. Our 2nd day in Penang. we wake up quite early as everyone looking forward for site seeing and shopping trip.. Yippee...

PoPo, Jerome, Jermain, Daddy, Mummy and Shaney had our breakfast at hotel while the others had walked to nearby coffee hse for Bak Kut Teh..

After breakfast, we just went to the 7th storey where the swimming pool is located to have a look...

We had arrange with uncle Max to pick us up at 9am to go to Penang Hill, so off we go..

Everybody looking forward for an enjoyable day!!

Reached in 20 -25mins, we brought ticket to take the train up... the hill was high and the slope was quite steep. the train was designed in a way that allow us to travel all the way up to the hill top.

Finally we are here... we still need to change train the the mid of the hill... hahaha..

Jermain and Jerome each brought an ice cream and Shaney suddenly in love with Jermain jie jie, keep asking, Jermain Jie jie le?? hahaha

they got this woodle train, is the same as what we had ride on just now.

Next stop is their Famous Kek Lok Si Temple. Shaney keep praying one after another.. she so cute!! we all had a good laugh with my little darling around..

Our next stop is Visiting the coffee Tree, they made their own Coco and Coffee powder, they sell lots of stuff there.. Coffee powder, chocolate.. etc

Guess what is Shaney doing???

She is Urg Urg lah.. coz try too much chocolate right!! haha..

Next is Penang biggest shopping mall - Queensbay, we had our lunch at one of the coffee house there selling noodle and rice.. and Shop Shop Shop..

The shopping mall is very big consist of 3 buildings, North, Central and South.. We only manage to shop the Central... maybe coz there's too many of us with different age group.. so is a little difficult to "shop fast" hahaha..

While we taking a rest, Shaney happily running about..

Yes! they have this kiddy car where our IMM have.. Shaney had accidentally scratch her leg on this kiddy car, there's a sharp object near to the wheel...

She cried and fall asleep on mummy... Mummy had help to paste a blaster for her, luckily just a small scratch..

While we shop, we also brought food to munch, so we are not very hungry.. For today dinner, Daddy and Mummy had went to the nearby Kopi tiam again, to pack back some food.

We had packed, Kway tiao, cuttlefish kang kong, bbq chicken wing, egg oyster, Hokkien noodle and chay kway tiao... Today dinner feels more comfy compare to yesterday...

Shaney 1st Trip on plane - Penang Day 1

22nd Novembr 2009, Sunday. Long waited holiday finally is here!! Booked air ticket in June and planned so many acitivites for this 4 Day 3 night stay at Penang!!


Wake up very early that morning coz to catch the early flight. Dressed Shaney, Dressed ourselves and make sure we brought everything to be brought along and off we go to Changi Airport.


Ya! coz there's 9 of us in total and since is an early morning flight, we went to Airport via MRT. so we arranged to meet at CCK MRT station.


Everyone was very happy, of course la, go holiday le.. Mummy extremly happy as I had not been travelling for the past 5 years!!! WOW!! there's very long right!! And this time is the 1st trip i had arranged for Darling Shaney.. 1st areoplane flight ya...

After the check in, Shaney played at the playground just next to the cafeteria and we get to know this little boy with her Jie Jie, the boy was just a mth older than Shaney, they hold their hands and walking happily..

Reached there aro 11 plus, San Yi Ma had arrange a air port transfer from airport to Hotel, so Uncle Max (the driver) brought us to the nearby Dao Sa Pia first to make our purchase.

Ya! the Da Sa Pia is very fresh, coz is baked and selll there.. All of us brought something there and off we went to hotel.

As we are earlier, we couldnt check in, therefore, took a walk to nearby Coffee Shop to have our lunch..

Actually, everyone of us are happy lah.. hee

Ooh.. we are ready to take a walk since is still early.. This is the Kopi tiam that we had our lunch just now.. Daddy and Shaney had fish porriddge, Mummy have Seafood Mee Sua, the others have fried quay tiao and we had order Rojak too..

Along to way to Pualau Tikus Market, we have pass by Burma Temple..

And Chaiyaangkalam Temple too...

Shaney had put her hand together to pray, she pray to be healthy and be a good gal when grow up.. hehehe.. This is wat Mummy and Daddy wish too..

And Finally reached the market, As of this timing, all of them had already closed.. We brought some fruits and had eaten a few durians.. hehehe..

Finally we got a call from Hotel. YES!! we can check in already!! So we walked back to the hotel asap. We booked Gurney Hotel as they have 2 bedrm suit to fit in the 9 of us..

The hotel is Suit is really good, They got 2 bedroom, an living hall with dinning table and a small Kitchenette with Fridge and Washing Machine... They do provide standard utensils too..

And this is the View I taken right at the window of our hotel... Our Room No. 2603 means we are staying at the 26th Storey.. Nice view.

Feel so comfy with such nice hotel and view.. will have an enjoyable holiday!!

After settling down, I had let Shaney had her nap, so some of us walked to the nearby Shopping mall, Gurney Plaza. Is aro 20 - 25minute walk away from our hotel. and the others will come along with Taxi (taxi rate around Rm 6 - Rm10) after Shaney woke up.

We shop for a while and went to Gurney Hawker to have our dinner. There are alot of variety there, they got Lok Lok, cuttlefish Kang Kong, Penang Laksa, Satay...etc

I was very looking forward to eat there after seeing so many different variety, but a little disappointed in their sitting arrangement. Those who wanted to eat at this store can only sit at particular place, if i wanted to eat other store food, I have to sit at their desinated place..

It was still drizzling and sort of frustrated with their sitting arrangement, however, Gong Gong found a place which can eat his favourite Cuttle fish Kang Kong.. So I told them that I need to find something for Shaney to eat first and we went to sit other places by ourselves.

Shaney had fish ball noodle, mummy had order a box of sushi, fried Lok Lok, Penang Laksa and soya milk and chin chow drink.. so this will be our dinner...

Another uncomfy situation is that, while we are eating, there are beggers around asking for money, Oh my god!! I was scared and feeling uncomfortable.. I can still remember clearly that there is one with no legs just sitting in front of me, 2 passes by asking for money, i didnt even dare to look at them...

After finishing our meal, we went over to look for the others, we intend to pack back some more food back to hotel to eat...

Back to hotel by cab, we eat what we have packed back, start our MJ session since is already late and we are not going anyway..

And this is our first day activity..
